In a harrowing ordeal, a Norwegian cruise ship carrying 1,300 passengers is currently adrift in stormy seas after being struck by a rogue wave that disabled its navigation systems. Terrifying footage has emerged, capturing the panic and chaos among passengers as they brace for impact and the subsequent rescue efforts.

According to CBS News, the ship lost its ability to navigate on Monday morning, February 27th, 2024, at approximately 8:54 AM EST. The incident occurred in the North Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Norway. The ship, operated by Norwegian Cruise Lines, was on a seven-day cruise from Copenhagen to Reykjavik.

The Norwegian Coast Guard has deployed several rescue vessels to the scene, and the Royal Norwegian Air Force has also dispatched helicopters to assist in the evacuation. The rescue operation is currently underway, with no reported injuries or casualties so far.
