Daniel Hurley, born on January 16, 1973, is an American college basketball coach who currently serves as the head coach of the UConn Huskies men's team at the University of Connecticut.

A Basketball Legacy

Hurley grew up in a basketball-loving family. His father, Bob Hurley Sr., is a legendary high school coach in New Jersey. Dan Hurley's brothers, Bob Hurley Jr. and Mike Hurley, are also successful basketball coaches.

Early Coaching Career

Hurley began his coaching career as an assistant coach at his father's high school, St. Anthony High School. He later became the head coach at Wagner College and Rhode Island before joining UConn in 2018.
