Three Lions Prepare for Summer Tournament
The final England men's senior squad for UEFA EURO 2024 has been named by manager Gareth Southgate. The Three Lions will face Scotland in London on Friday 14 June, before taking on Czech Republic in Prague on Tuesday 18 June.
They then face Denmark in Frankfurt on Thursday 20 June before their final group game with Slovenia on Tuesday 25 June in Cologne. Southgate has selected a mix of experience and youth for his squad, with several uncapped players making the cut.
Captain Harry Kane will lead the line, while Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, and Bukayo Saka provide attacking threat. Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice, and Jude Bellingham will anchor the midfield, while John Stones, Harry Maguire, and Luke Shaw form the backbone of the defense.
Southgate said: "I am pleased to name this squad for the upcoming European Championship. We have a good blend of experience and youth, and I am confident that this group of players can achieve great things.
