Missed Playoffs for Eighth Consecutive Season
Team Struggles in 2024 Regular Season
The Indiana Fever finished the 2024 WNBA regular season with a record of 13-27, missing the playoffs for the eighth consecutive season.
The Fever have not made the playoffs since 2016, when they lost in the First Round. They finished the 2023 regular season 5-31, sixth in the WNBA Eastern Conference.
The Fever were led by Marianne Stanley, who averaged 14.1 points per game. Carlos Knox averaged 12.3 points per game and Victoria Vivians averaged 11.9 points per game.
The Fever struggled on the defensive end of the court, allowing opponents to score an average of 87.6 points per game. They also struggled to rebound, finishing 11th in the WNBA in rebounding.
The Fever will look to improve next season under new coach Marianne Stanley. Stanley was hired in December after spending the previous three seasons as an assistant coach with the Las Vegas Aces.
